Royce also made the Riverina League Open School Boys team and they are heading to Griffith for the State champions in a few weeks time. I will have stacks of photo when the carnival kicks off!!!!
  • The boys school soccer and touch teams have had success and are playing in the next rounds and Royce has enjoyed these days away from school.

The Duplication of the Sheahan Bridge in Gundagai was reacently opened and Royce has School Captain and his Principal where invited to the opening, this was a huge thing for Gundagai as the exisitjng bridge is a major linke bewteen Sydney and Melbourne.

CHELSEA

Little Miss Chelsea has also had a busy busy few weeks.
Chelsea has done very well with her Cross Country running - gaining 1st place in the 10 year girls School Cross Country, she then placed 2nd at District Level which gained her selcection at the Riverina Primary School Cross Country.
This was held in Griffith on a COLD and WET yucky day!!!! It seems though Chels is a mud runner has she came in 5th out of huge amount of girls which takes her to Eastern Creek in Sydney to run inthe State Cross Country Championships. - Way to go Chels.................
IMGP2082

Chels has also been very busy with her Dancing, netball and Hockey!

Today we headed of to Young for the 2009 Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. Chelsea and another girl from her class competed today against 12 other students.

Chelsea's topic is the Australian Flag - I was so proud of her today it is such a huge ask to speak in front of so many people and then to prepare an impromtu speech is really hard.

But all her hard work has paid of as today she won her region and is now off the next level!!!!

So you can see where I have been and why it is so busy.

I have managed to squeeze classes and way to many  Circle journals in over the past weeks (crazy I know - stop laughing Bridge) but it is all great and very rewarding and I love it!
