{This has really rattled me}

I still feel physically sick after watching the breaking news tonight on the 8 year girl murdered in the shopping centre at Perth. How tragic is this. My children are 7 and 9 and I couldn't bear to imagine what this family is going through.

I am often saying to my 7 year old daughter not to run around in the shopping mall, she has a tendency to wander to the toy section with out tellimg me and every time she ends up in tears because she is scolded when I get there. The deal is if anyone needs to go to the toilet then we go together and use the disabled toilets, but it easy to get a bit complactent and think they are old enough - you just never know who is around.

This really shook me up tonight  and to think here in Australia things like this can happen

Needless to say I gave my kids an extra big hug tonight, and a really big talk on being in public places.

This is the tragic story and to think this man has been accused before and walked free.

{Shop and Crop Stuff}

Here is another creation I did for Shop and Crop a BTP item.

I picked this little Box Board book up from Spotlight - I just love the funky colours, the pages are already there for you in a coated finish you just need to add the photo's and the embellishments, journalling etc and bobs your uncle :0) - so fast!!!!! I have a few more the same just different colours and patterns so stay tuned.

{Weekend Report}

Weekend started off - fairly busy... David arrived home Friday night around 7.00pm I was going to join in with Jaimie at Shop and Crop's latest online class but things didn't pan out for me , I did go in for a chat and have checked out all the great creations girls in the gallery, so now I am going to get  the little book done some time this week.

Well again busy busy with sport on Saturday Chelsea played Soccer and played really really well she is like a little terrior on the ball her team won 1-0, then we headed to Tumut for Hockey I had a bye this week and Chelsea's Team won 3- 1 they are getting better every week. Royce and David headed of early to Temora for a 10.00 game brrrr glad to miss this one (no not really) Royce's team won and Royce scored 4 tries way to go ROYCE!!!!!

Sunday I headed to the Scrapbooking Hut to teach for the lovely Di - thanks so much to all the ladies that came along and to little Emily you did great girl......

{Infants Athletics Carnival}

Our school hosted the Infants Athletics carnival on Friday - Chels had been busting to run for weeks, along with the 100m the children also participated in Long Jump, High Jump and lots of fun games, event the parents got involved :0).

Chelsea and her cousin Tate both again bought home the Blue ribbon well done to you both!!

New Layout

Well here is my latest upload for Shop and Crop I just lurve the Crate paper, the texture and aged look is just divine, for this layout I have used the New Garden Collection.

The Design Team was asked to do a Maree Clout style Layout - had heaps of fun doing this one!!! - not usre if it looks like a Maree masterpiece though......................

{Surprise EVANA}

So yesterday after weeks and weeks of keeping our little secret finally... over 35 wonderful friends of the darling evana willis surprised her with her very own online baby shower.....

Evana, Craig and family are expecting there new little bubba very soon. 

So as a surprise Nic Howard contacted lots of Evana's friends from Aus, NZ and US everywhere to get then invloved with the online shower for E.  (How cool is that)!!!

Evana didn't have any idea AT ALL!!! In fact yesterday morning Sasha and and Jaimie, Maree, and myself from SHOP and CROP all met online for a staff meeting while all the other ladies were waiting in the Baby Shower Yahoo Group!

Nic joined us and told Evana what was happening - Evana was so surprised, between Nic trying to explain to her what was going on and Evana opening a lot of mail (unusual all that mail :0) FINALLY at 11.30am yesterday morning over 35 ladies welcomed Evana into her very own online baby shower.

Evana was just so surprised. Between trying to post in the group and open all her mail she was in a frazze I bet, - You see all us girls made Evana a "Motherhood" Tag with our own little message and mailed them over to her. The tags were Delish Designs tea tags, and were just gorgeous to work with so a huge thanks girls for donating them.

What a great day!!! Keeping checking that Mail Evana - you never know what might turn up :0)!!!

Evana I know you had a blast yesterday and so did I - enjoy the next few weeks and all the best for the safe arival of your new little baby.

KIWI SCRAPS HERE I COME!!!!

Today in the mail I received all my details for Kiwi Scraps - Class tickets, Timetable everything NOW I AM EXCITED, can't wait to catch up with all the girls and I am busting to do my class choices.

I better start cracking and get my Name Tag and Swap Pins started..........................

What's been happening.......

Well yes I know long time between posts AGAIN but I have been very busy, School, sport, feeding cattle and just general everyday stuff!!!

The weekend just gone was action packed with sport  - Royce's footy team had a draw with the Tumut Blues, Chelsea's Hockey team is improving every week and my team after beating the top team last week were defeated 4 -1, I have a nice big hockey ball bruise I my leg, I have been playing hockey for 25 years and this is the first time I have ever been badly brusied with a ball OUCH.............., maybe I should retire.

Royce went of to the next level of his Cross Country and won the 9 years boy 2km run so now he is off to Wagga next Tuesday to compete in the Riverina PSSA carnival - Yeah Royce!!!!! Good luck little Man.

mmmmm scrapping front I have my kits for the next lot of Shop and Crop's Online Classes where do I start they are all look so yummy!!!
